**The New Shooting Star Country Club has just opened near Teton Village...We are located on Shooting Star Lane, just north of The Aspens....Not in the new Country Club Complex.  (they stole our name!) See directions below.

Our GPS Address is:  N 43' 32.092  W 110' 50.305  Google Earth:  3725 Shooting Star Lane  Wilson, Wy

Directions from the Jackson Hole Airport via the Town of Jackson
We are located about 20-30 beautiful minutes from the airport. see MAP

Turn right as you leave the airport toward the Town of Jackson.

After a few minutes, you will see the National Elk Refuge on your left, home to 10,000 elk, bison, wolves and mountain lions during the winter months. On your right you will see the National Wildlife Museum, a wonderful spot to stop for lunch.

You will enter Jackson and come to the Town Square with its famous elk antler arches. Turn right onto Broadway. Travel 5 minutes or so.

At a major intersection with 4 way lights, turn right onto Highway 22 traveling toward Wilson and Teton Village. Travel 5 minutes or so.

You will cross the Snake River. Turn right onto Highway 390 (also known as Teton Village Road) heading toward Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Travel about 5 minutes.

You will pass the Teton Pines Golf Course on your left, then "The Aspens" (also called the Jackson Hole Racquet Club). Our driveway is 1/8th mile further on the left, "Shooting Star Lane". (There are two large power poles on the right side of the highway, directly opposite our driveway. )   see MAP

Directions from the Jackson Hole Airport via Grand Teton National Park
(This route is open only May 1 through October 31)
Part of this drive is on a gravel country road with great wildlife viewing. Beautiful! see MAP

Turn left as you leave the airport, toward the entrance of Grand Teton National Park at Moose.

In about 5 minutes you will take a left turn toward "Moose" and the mountains. After you turn, you will see on your right a wonderful area called "Dornan's". You will find a terrific little bar that serves a casual lunch with a drop dead view of the Tetons. They also have an incredible wine selection. Straight ahead, across the Snake River is the Park Entrance and on your left is the Visitor's Center.

At the west end of the Visitor's Center parking lot, tucked into the trees and almost hidden, is the "Moose-Wilson Road".  (You will be driving toward Teton Village.)  This winding, gravel country road is 7 miles long and wanders through the former Rockefeller Ranch.  This narrow paved country road will turn into a narrow gravel country road the last few miles, you are not lost!

Keep an eye out for the new Lawrence Rockefeller Preserve, you will want to visit this at some time. You may see wildlife along here, especially in the early morning and late evening.

You will soon come out onto a main road.  You will drive past the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort at Teton Village and the just opened Shooting Star Country Club, keep going.  Remain on the main highway for about 4 miles. On your left you will see a school, the road will begin to curve and soon you will see "Shooting Star Lane" on your right.  (There are two large power poles on the left side of the highway, directly opposite our driveway.) If you come to the Aspens, you have gone 1/8th mile too far. see MAP

Directions from Salt Lake City, Utah and Idaho Falls, Idaho
(4 1/2-5 hours from SLC and 1 1/2  hours from Idaho Falls) see MAP

From Salt Lake City you will head north on Interstate 15 toward Pocatello, Idaho. You will continue toward Idaho Falls, Idaho. Follow the signs to Jackson.

When you come to the junction at Swan Valley, you will see signs directing you to continue straight ahead, but we have another suggestion.  In the summer seasons, turn left at the grocery/gas station and head for Victor, Idaho. (In the winter season, stop and check for road conditions on Teton Pass. If they are poor...then follow normal road signs directing you to Jackson.) This is a beautiful drive and shorter.

In Victor, take a right turn on Main toward Wilson, Wyoming and over Teton Pass. You are only about 30 minutes from us, enjoy the views!

You will drive through Wilson.  At the stop light, before crossing the Snake River, take a left onto Highway 390, (also known as Teton Village Road), heading toward Teton Village and the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. You will travel about 5 minutes.

You will pass the Teton Pines Golf Course on your left, then "The Aspens" (also called the Jackson Hole Racquet Club). Our driveway is 1/8th mile further on the left, " Shooting Star Lane".  (There are two large power poles on the right side of the highway, directly opposite our driveway. )   You're here! see MAP
